    Chronic lack of sleep makes us more susceptible to mental and physical illnesses. Nights spent trying to get to sleep often leaves us restless, irritable, lacking in concentration and depressed. Anyone who gets too little sleep over a period of months or years is also at a significantly higher risk of falling ill.
