•  Tempur Canal Walk Goes The Extra Mile
  
  My 14-year-old son has cerebral palsy, which affects primarily his balance and his ability to walk unaided. Recently he had operations which left both his legs in plaster from groin to toe, which meant that he would need to spend five weeks in bed until the casts were removed, and quite a bit of time afterwards largely in bed, and so we decided to try and find an adjustable bed that would make his time more comfortable. When we approached Tempur in Canal Walk, they said they had a floor model which had been used for demonstrations at expos and that they could sell us at a reduced price. Even so this was a lot of money to pay for a bed, and so our first thought was to use the frame with an ordinary mattress, despite the fact that Tempur mattresses are well known to be ideal for these situations. In fact Tempur very kindly offered to let us have the mattress immediately, with a token down-payment, and then to pay off the remainder of its cost over time, that time to be chosen by us to suit our finances – and all with no interest or other finance charges. Needless to say we jumped at the offer.
  
  The results have been fantastic; not only is it much easier to handle my son, but he is having a relatively comfortable time, and the adjustability of the frame together with the special qualities of the mattress are an absolute boon to him.
  
  I cannot speak highly enough of the kindness of Themis and Arihetta, who organised this for us. I was able to go that day and collect the bed, with Themis kindly helping me to carry it to the car, and Arihetta was not only most concerned to ensure that we had the best for our boy, she was exceptionally kind and sympathetic to us as parents.
  
  Without the generosity, both financial and emotional, of these two people I am sure we and our son would have had a far harder time of it, and we are really very grateful to them for all their support.
